Defra Farming and Food Science: Farming and Food Previous LINK Programmes

Aquaculture LINK

Aquaculture LINK was sponsored by Defra, SEERAD and NERC. The total sponsorship committed to the Programme was in excess of £5.3 million, which meant that with industry's minimum 50% commitment to the cost of the projects the total investment in LINK Aquaculture was around £10 million. This represented a considerable investment in the strategic applied development of the UK's aquaculture sector, and one which, for the first time, was industry lead.
